General

  • Clients need to be aware of the maximum SMS/characters supported at the recipient's country.
  • SMS that has exceeded the character limit might be either truncated or split into different messages (Telco dependent). Every SMS sent will be charged.
  • When you click <Enter>, 2 characters will be taken.
  • MACROKIOSK shall not entertain any REFUND request due to SMS that has exceeded in character limit, which might result in the message being truncated, or split into different messages.
  • The ability to receive long concatenated SMS is handphone dependent.

Bulk Messages Module

  • Checking for duplicate mobile number,is not available for Personalized Message files during the uploading process.
  • Scheduled SMS event(s) will NOT be affected although the user's account has been suspended due to a maximum of 3 invalid login attempts.
  • The Euro ‘€’ symbol in the Message is converted to ‘E’ automatically. The conversion takes place because some Telcos do not support this conversion whereas some Telcos support them. Therefore MACROKIOSK standardizes everything to ‘E’.

Mobile Broadcast

  • 'Mobile Broadcast Module' DOES NOT support space in between a 'Group Name'.

For Message Box with CRM Module Integration

  • The MO variable with “Any” format setting can only be exported into the CRM data field type (in Text format).
  • The MO variable with “Alphanumeric/Alphabet” format setting can only be exported into the CRM data field type (in Text format).
  • The MO variable with “Numeric” format setting can only be exported into the CRM data field type (in Numeric format).
  • The MO record log for Singapore Message Box Module will be updated ONE day after the transaction is carried out.

CRM Module

  • No reporting log will be provided for email deliveries and the CRM Module will not take any responsibility over the email delivery status from the connected SMTP server.
  • The SMTP connection test is only meant to test the accuracy of the 3rd party's SMTP configuration setting during the event setup time. The event owner must take responsibility to update the setting of the SMTP server should there be any changes made.
  • For security concerns, no MES IP address will be provided for connection to our SMTP server. (We recommend the usage of public SMTP server for email connection purpose).
